Description
Another take on the underwater scene. It's an assignment to draw a game background where characters walk across horizontally on the path. The critiques I've got from last time [link] was that it was too much like a painting and too flat, so here's another shot.

Vision Originality
Technique ImpactThis is much, much better than the prior version. Good job! The colors are a lot brighter, there is more detail and we can now tell the walkway is a walkway in the foreground.
If you have time to add to this piece, I would suggest tightening up the details of the more distant background (the two fan-like coral and the distant pink rocks). The way the color and line art is now, it looked sketched in, wispy and incomplete compared to the much more finished foreground. Also, the dark lineart compared to the relatively wispy and lightly applied color adds too much contrast making it look unfinished. Try to blend that dark line art more into your surrounding colors to resolve this.
